Goverrnment hospital!!!!

While writing this, i'm still in the O&G department of government hospital. No, no.. i'm not pregnant, just came here to find ways to conceive. It's been more than a year friends... i should be a mommy already!

I reached here at 8.45am and do you know what time now? it's 12:02noon!! Oh.my.God.!

I'm pissed off now. I hate government hospital, hear me again... i hate them so much. 3 hours waiting and i don't see the doctor face yet.

For sure, this is the 1st and the last i'll be here.

angry face!! look at the fire came out from my head hehehe

Hello Pantai Hospital... ehem ehem.

Teambuilding 2011

Last week, my company had organized the Teambuilding for the staff at Dusun Eco Resort, Bentong Pahang. Almost 10 years without actively involved in this activity, I felt so reluctant to go.

If in Uni time, you can name it all sorts of the teambuilding activities, in the jungle, mud, river and I never refuse to take part. Spending the nights in the tent in middle of the jungle, that was really trilled experience for me.

But now, for the first time ever, I don’t know what to pack.

Do I need to bring my short pants?

How about my make up?

My heels said they also want to follow!

I just realized that I don’t have a new track suit for the longggg time! So sudden, I don’t have everything that I can bring along (just a reason… I know!). After work, hubby accompanied me to Jusco for shopping. He bought me one track suit, hiking shoe and few t-shirts. Thank God that the new stuff makes me so excited to go.

There were many physical activities that we need to participate in. But I made it man! Clap clap clap for myself :)

Why my tummy soooooo BIG!!!!
I dont know why this pic turn like this hehehe

The best of the activity off course goes to Water rafting!! We had divided to 2 groups and tell you what, the other team had Rakit specialist and that’s why they had very nice and floating rakit compared to us. So unfair. You know lar, Sarawakian are use to build the rakit for their daily activity in the river. I should have learnt it from my Sarawak friend before I go.

To balanced the program, we were also had a worst and tiring activity. Can you imagine that we need to walk alone in the middle of the jungle and only given one small birthday candle to show the way? I end up thrown away the candle and confidently walked with long stick of wood like a blind man. Do you know that our eyes vision can be transformed well when you are in the dark?

Okay, exercise 1: Try to close your eyes about 2-5 minutes before you walk in the dark area (Are you trying now?)

Tadaaa you’ll surprise to see that your eyes can really change to suit your current surroundings. You can walk in the dark now! 5 marks for you!

Oh, I forget to tell you that my other team mates were waiting for me before we end up the night race together. Hehehehe.

The bonding arose during the program makes me realize that we don’t do this every day; 8 hours of time that we are spending every day in the office, we assume that’s enough to know each other very well. Try to exclude the individual work load, meeting & discussion time... how many hours we think left for us a day for this process?

If you have the chance or you have forced by your superior to participate in the teambuilding program, try not to run away or pretend that you have a slipped disk :). It may sound tiring and dirty but if you look at the bright side, there be more benefits than you can think.

Aja aja fighting!

Sibu Island, Johor

No, no… It wasn’t me who initiated this trip… you know that I’m not soooo beach fan, being physically under hot sun, oh it’s not my cup of tea!

(I know you will ask… why SIBU ISLAND? Right???? ^_^)

Many people claimed that Sibu Island has the most beautiful coral life compared to other islands in peninsular of Malaysia. The island is still new; I think they only received the first visitor on last 5 – 7 years ago. That’s why Sibu Island still falls under virgin island.

We started journey in the late midnight and reached the jetty at 7.30am just ngam-ngam for breakfast. They even have KFC restaurant in case KL-ian still can’t take Johor-ian Malay food style hahahaha. So good.

It took about half an hour only to reach the island and as per my expectation, the island not as nice as what we heard. The chalet that we stayed I would give half of the star only. The attached bathroom and toilet is suck. However, if I compared to the price that we paid, nothing worth than that.

The main purpose we were choosing Sibu Island was to experience the beautiful coral life ever (which they positively claimed) but unfortunately, we can’t go near to the spot due to the big wave coming to our way since we arrive. We were so disappointed, but not our luck this time. So, I’m not being able to give testament on how beautiful the coral are.

With all-in package worth RM230 per person, I would consider this holiday as just destination-budget getaway trip with the friends. I just wonder, if without the friends who with me that day, what would the trip turn to? Bored? Nothing? Whatever?.

God created friends for a reason. Yes.

Metro Man Search 2011

I swear that the girl/man who sat next to me that day felt so annoyed... off course i was shouting like nobody bussiness. I didn't even bothered where my hubby was... hehehe (he was actually just discharge from Hospital for the muscle torn medication and surronded the area with the wheel chair ^_^).

Hey, my friend was there mannnn! competing for the Metro Man 2011 title!! really i'm so proud of him.

I can't believe that i was one of thousand people who actually being supporter to this program and moreover i can't believe that my friend who is now the winner and carrying the title of Metro Man 2011 in his fortfolio. He was enroll to this program just because to 'beautify' his fortfolio as an professional emcee. But now, he made it to the end and complete the 'race' successfully.

Congrats Jude, you made it! you deserved it!

Bravo!

Oh, Amber Chia was one of the judges that day. She's soooooo pretty and soooooo thin! her son soooooooo cute! i was soooooooo excited. Thank God that she did bend her body just to ensure that we both has the same height. Hehe

Those who would like to contact my friend, Jude Benjamin for the emcee job, you can do so at the following (he is really a wonderful emcee ever):-

- Jude (012-2844181

Ehem-ehem, Jude... 10% please ^_^.

Oil & Gas Exhibition 2011

This was a second time i had involve in this exhibition since i joined in 2009. Nothing much task this year except was handling of goodies and f&b for the staff on duty. Not interesting part though.

Standing the whole time, from 9am till 6pm (yes yes, i sat too... but few times only hehehe), make me sick. After 3 days event, i felt my body no longer belong to me... floating till no where.... oh, i think floating to Paris... next to LV shop ^_^.

I should give two thumbs up to the management for the beautiful booth this year. I heard it was soooooooo freaking expensive. But, the turn up was really good... we were visited by the client from Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

i'm not going to talk about the business here but i'm thanking God for the chance to have a job in this industry. The 'gold' type of industry that people always rated. That wasn't a easy job for our Datuk to handle, but we always pray for the good; more bonuses and high salary increment. Oh, not to forget next family day to Europe please... *cough*

Enjoy the picture of me... being so-not-comfortable-in-the-bloody-suit! ^_^

with Ucop Wilcha, the man who became a fenomena in the film industry after his 'Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah' movie. Oh, i had watched 3 times and still laughing like a hell man!

Boss, please be considerate! and tell the management that i'm not good enough, so that on the next two years, i'll be excluded from the staff on duty list. Amin. :)

RIP

Last week I had a very sad week. Apart of losing energy and had so much body aches all over the body for being a booth girl at my Company Oil & Gas Exhibition, I had a veryyyyyy shocking news from my friend.

Something that made me appreciate life more than I did yesterday.

I was still serving the guest at the booth the moment I received a call. My friend 6-months old niece just passed away which was initially suspected fell down at babysitter’s house. I did not believe it at first and who would if the news came in sudden.

I managed to visit the parents at mortuary PPUM right after finishing the exhibition. I can’t help myself to hold on the tear when hugging the mother. I do not have children, but still, I can feel what she feels. Off course, that was not easy thing to handle.

I still remembered her mumbling “we were married at very late age, having a baby just for 6 months only before God taking her with Him…”

I don’t know how to express my sorry towards the parents but for sure, I cried a lot when attending the funeral. Seeing the mother crying throughout the day, fainted a few times and the father sat down at the corner of the house looking nowhere… I just pray hard to God, hoping that God won’t take anyone that I love most soon... I just not ready for it.

The baby was initially believed to have been abused, but an autopsy was conducted to ascertain the cause of death and indicated that she died after choking on some food.

Rest in peace baby Rania Batrisya Zul Azmi and we all love you so much. Al Fatihah.

To Angah and Diana, everything happen for a reason, be strong for the upcoming days… may God bless you forever. Amin.

Birthday Again

This was happened when we skipped the monthly birthday celebration hehehe

We had a group of friends/Auntie/Uncles who will always get to gather for at least once in the month for the birthday celebration. But, for the last few months, most of the 'forum' members had their schedule ahead us, so we had skipped the celebration for about 4 months.

Once we met up... tadaaaa... 6 cakes on the table for 7 birthday boys/girls for the month of Feb, Apr and May hehehehehe. Luckily, they had prepared one cake for me and hubby... if not we need extra table to accomodate 7 cakes then ^_^.

I had so many birthday gifts e.g. Gucci Perfume, L'Occitane SPF, Crabtree Evelyn body Lotion, Kain Baju Kurung, Clutch, undies, pink pajamas (ehem) and t-shirt.

Thank you so much friendsssssss.

Don't forget next year ya hehehe.

Jakarta & Bandung Trip

Most of my girlfriends have Bandung as their second home. Almost 3 or 4 times a year, they had travelling for some new outfits & shoes seem that there are no shopping complex / outlet available in KL. Even worst, some of them are leaving for Bandung for almost every month.

I swear they had influenced me for this shopping gateway. *cough* Never, I had never go oversees just mainly for shopping and I normally prefer for some site seeing activity with camera for camwhoring (off course -__-) and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I do shop (I’ll lie if I’m not hehe) but not as shopaholic like this time.

Do you know what the meaning of shopaholic?

If you are manage to change more than half of your wardrobe in the short time of period, and then you are shopaholic girl.

No, sorry, I still not manage to change even half of my wardrobe. My hubby will vomit sick if he realized it.

We opt to Jakarta before Bandung and off course we got the cheapest ticket too this time. We using MAS airline for way back to KL from Bandung, it was cheaper compared to Air Asia and at least we weren’t to worry about our luggage weight.

MAS

Luggage from KL

Luggage from Bandung hehehe

I managed to shop at Manggar Dua shopping centre in Jakarta (they claimed the most visited mall in Jakarta) before headed to Bandung. I didn’t buy much as shopping in Bandung was the main agenda for the trip. We took train to Bandung at the Manggir station and I was planning this for a long time. I eager to see the so called ‘Indiana Jones’ scenery throughout the journey as if you can see from the world map, Bandung exactly surrounded by the hill side and located at 768m above sea level.

View from flight

Wow, the scenery must be stunning! So what did we see?? Oh... well... just nothing! :(

Railway station

Tut-Tut

Because by the time we reached the area, it was already dark! Travelled by train from Jakarta at 4pm (local time) wasn’t a good idea as Indonesia started dark at 5.30pm onwards. I’m sure to be smart next time!

We stayed at Kenangan Hotel, just about 3 minutes walking distances from Bandung Train station and 8 minutes walking distance from Pasar Baru. Smart girl this times ya! We had the factory outlet (FO) hoping on the first day after our visit to Tangkuban Perahu. I had soo many blouses only in one day. Wow, I can’t believe it!

But one thing for sure, I love Manggar Dua as much as I love Factory Outlet (FO) in Bandung. In Jakarta, the designs are trendy and feminine but in Bandung are more to sporty and office garments moreover exactly what you can find in Jalan Tuanku Abd Rahman in KL. I’m also not into t-shirt & jeans so much that’s why I felt so regret not to shop at Manggar Dua (Oh this is what I said after I had so many clothes ^__^). There are a lot of things that you can’t get in Bandung. The design in Manggar Dua reminds me on our local designer creation concept such as The Pop Look, PU3, Mimpi Kita, Shasha Rowena, etc (just pick some of the name, you may find them at www.fashionvalet.net, oh yeah… you are most welcome Vivy Yusof – FV owner ^_^)

What you see from Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, everything available in Pasar Baru. You can buy all sort of materials for Hari Raya and Malay wedding (I just curious why I did not come here before my wedding?) in Pasar Baru which far cheaper than in KL. I got a lot of materials for my parents and siblings and our Raya theme this year is going to be Green.

Foods in Bandung are tasty compared to Jakarta. Thank God for bring in a fast food restaurant in Jakarta hehehe. Don’t talk about price here as in Indonesia everything is consider cheap! (Maybe due to the conversion rate). Even we dine-in in so called luxury restaurant, but it still far cheaper than in KL.

Tangkuban Perahu

The place Must-Go in Bandung

I love all things and stuffs that I bought, even it still better if I could shopping more at Jakarta. For sure I’ll come back again to Bandung (with more money off course) and this time shopping in Manggar Dua will be a must.

My Birthday 2011

I’ll normally prefer not to be noticeable in the office during my birthday and especially when I celebrating the birthday in this ageeeeeee! But my colleagues were so sweet; they still treated me for my birthday right after I reported back to work. Thank God that they did not ask about my age ^__^.

This year I had celebrated my day in Bandung and 2 days before my birthday, I had Coco Channel Mademoiselle perfume from Hubby. Oh God, I love the smell so much! I prefer something like feminine scent and more similar to talcum perfume aroma. If you similar to my taste, I really recommend this perfume. This was my 2nd bottle since I had it first time last year. RM295 for 50ml, a bit expensive, but I find it worth especially when people give that kind of ‘wah-you-are-smell-good’ looks.

The other ranges of my perfumes are LancĂ´me Miracle Forever and Kenzo Flowers… oh I’m in feeling romantic now.

……and the best part of the day, hubby gave RM3K for shopping money in Bandung. I likeeeeeeeeee. (You may read my article about Bandung in my next post). I had so many things in 5 days in Indonesia for my birthday gift and not to mention the SPA session and dinner treat in Bandung. Oh, I love to be me.

I'm not a cake fan, so this was only i had during my birthday night.

I had so many birthday wishes in my FB and I felt like so touchy to see so many friends still remember my birthday (oh I know they had calendar in FB ^__^) but still, I was really happy to celebrate the day with my family and friends who I adore so much in my life.

Thank God for created this day for me to enjoy till the fullest.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My hubby gave me an option; the shopping money in Bandung or LV Speedy Damier handbag for my birthday gift!

ME: “I want it both.”

HUBBY: “Life is all about option and you can’t get everything that you want without having a chance to choose.”

ME: I’ll just stay at home during my birthday next year! I promise.
